About Me

I am currently in my second year of university studying Software Engineering (MEng), hoping to pursue a career in the cybersecurity industry, specifically application security. The primary goal of the site is to show who I am and my experiences. I have various external media sources located around the website: Medium, Twitter, Github, and LinkedIn. These are here to both represent me as an individual and provide further information on my interests.

I hope to one day provide a lasting impact on protecting users and their data during their use of a variety of applications. My dream is to become an established application security professional and eventually use this specialisation in penetration testing. I am a firm believer in the gamification and use of labs for providing education in technology and cyber. The Immersive Labs platform is making incredible strides in Cyber education. Furthermore, I believe the introduction of alternative pathways for Neurodivergent individuals to get a career in the cybersecurity industry will significantly enhance the skill pool as a whole.

From my placement at IBM as a security intern, I have gained an extensive set of skills in programming, teamwork, communication, and presentations. These skills developed through my activities of presenting to senior management, working with a client to build a phishing analysis solution, and actively completely group activities to challenge my understanding of computers. Furthermore, I am working towards building a stronger GitHub portfolio to showcase my true capabilities as a programmer. Current projects include a university assignment, a personal website, and small contributions towards ProtonVPN functionality on Linux systems (GUI frontend for ProtonVPN-CLI).

So, that is a little about me. If you require further information or wish to contact me for any reason, do not hesitate to use any of the social media located in the footer of my pages.
